Ans. Information and Communication Technology is the term which includes any communication device or application associated with them. It is a study or business of developing and using technology to process information and communication tools for education.

a.    Business : The user can analyses sales , expenses and markets. Customers and suppliers can be contacted using computers.
b.    Industry: Computers can be used to control process, inventory and for product designing , manufacturing.
c.     At Home : Internet can be used for gathering information , playing games, online shopping and banking.
d.    Education and training: For playing multimedia educational programs and software. To make training easier and economical
e.     Entertainment and arts : Computers are used for animation and special effects, to compose music and enhancing photographs and pictures.
f.     Science and technology : Computer simulations transform expensive and risky experiments into safe and cost effective procedures.
